The Niamey HeavyOil Power Plant Project locates between Niamey, the capital of the Niger andSay, 18km from it to Niamey.This project is a100MW thermal power station by 2# heavy oil, with equipped 5 same large dieselgenerator sets. Four generator sets and all related ancillary facilities ofpower plant will be constructed at first. Then one generator set will beconstructed later. It can satisfy the requirement of 100MW after all finished.The main work ofthis project includes several oil tanks, field, foundation works, buildingproject (steel construct), electromechanical device installation work and soon. The area of earth excavation is 61217m3, concrete is 27102m3, concretebrickwork is 550m3, stone-laying is 5000m3. The road will be construct 3.5kilometers. The steel construct will be 2071 tons.The whole project startedon November 6, 2013. 80KW and 20KW project started at the same time and theconstruction period will be 20 months.
