1. The design and construction specification of gas station GB50156-2002:
1.0.1  In order to implement relevant national policies in the design and construction of gas station, the technical requirements should be unified. Be safe and reliable,
advanced technology, reasonable economy, development of this specification.

1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the design and construction of new construction, expansion and renovation of the gas station, liquefied petroleum gas station, compressed natural gas filling station and automobile gasoline and gas filling station project.

1.0.3 Design and construction of the gas station should be implemented this specification and  shall comply with relevant provisions of applicable national mandatory standards.

2. Term

3. General provision
3.0.1 To supply gas and oil for gas station by the way of truck transportation or pipeline transportation. When the compressed natural gas station adopted pipeline supply, it
should not affect the normal use of other users.

3.0.2 The gas station and LPG filling station or the gas station and compressed natural gas station can be united.

3.0.3 The classification of gas station should conform to the specification of 3.0.3.

 

4. The choice of site of gas station
4.0.1 The choice of site should conform to the requirements of town planning, environmental protection and fire safety. It should be in a place where the transportation is
convinient. 
4.0.2 There should be no gas station of A Class, LPG filling station of A Class and gas&filling station of A Class in urban area of city.
4.0.3 The gas station and filling station in city is suitable to near the road and is not suitable to near the crossroad of the main road.
4.0.4 The fire-protection distance between oil tank, oiling machine, nozzle of vent pipe and outer building should be no less than the specification of the table of 4.04.Table 4.04  The distance between oil tank, oiling machine, nozzle of vent pipe and outer building(m)

4.0.5 The fire-protection distance between LPG tank of gas station and outer buildings should be no less than the specification of Table 4.0.5.

4.0.6 The fire-protection distance between unloading place, filling machine, discharge tube and the outer building should be no less than the specification of Table 4.0.6.

5. General layout
5.0.1 The layout of bounding wall should conform to the following specifications:
1 When distance between processing facilities of refueling station and outside buildings is less than or equal to 25m and less than or equal to the 1.5 times of the distance
from table 4.0.4 to Table 4.0.7, the adjacent side walls shall be non burning entity bounding wall of which the height is not less than 2.2m.

2. When distance between processing facilities of refueling station and outside buildings is greater than 1.5 times of the distance from table 4.0.4 to Table 4.0.7 and is more than 25m,  the adjacent side walls shall be a non physical wall.

3, The side of road faced to the access road and exit road should set up non solid walls, or open.

5.0.2 The vehicle entrance and exit should be seperated.
5.0.3 The road and park in the station area should conform to the following specifications:
1. The width of one lane should be no less than 3m; the width of two-lane should be no less than 6m.
2. The road turning radius within station is decided by the vehicle types and should be no less than 9m; the road slope should not exceed 6%, and the appropriate slope outside
the station; in a tank truck (including sub station car) truck parking place, should press flat slope design.
3. The road surface in the station should not be asphalt pavement.
5.0.4  Oiling island, gas filling island and the site should be set up the tent which should use the non burning material. The effective height is no less than 4.5m. The
distance between its edge and tanker or filling machine plane should not be less than 2m.

5.0.5 The design of oiling island and gas filling island should conform to the following specifications:
1. The height of oiling island and gas filling island is 0.15~0.2 higher than the ground.
2. The width of oiling island and gas filling island is no less than 1.2m.
3. The distance between the post of tent of oiling island and gas filling island and the end of island is no less than 0.6m.

5.0.6 The layout of LPG tank should conform to the following specifications:
1. The ground tank should be centralized single row layout. The distance between tank and tank should be no less than the diameter of the neighbouring larger tank.
2. There should be a fire dike around the ground tank group and the height of dike is 1m. The distance between inner toe line of dike and the tank is no less than 2m.
3. The distance between two tanks should be no less than 2m. There should be a impermeable concrete wall between two tanks. If the tank pool is neccessary, the distance between
inner shell of pool and the tank shell is no less than 1m

5.0.7  In the combined refueling station, the diesel oil tank is arranged in the liquefied petroleum gas or compressed natural gas between the gas storage bottles and cans of petrol.

5.0.8 The fire-protection distance between facilities should be no less than the specification of Table 5.0.8.

6. The oiling workmanship and facilities
6.1 Oil tank
6.1.1 The storage tank used in the gas station should be horizontal steel oil tank . The width of steel plate for oil tanks should be no less than 5mm. The design and
construction of steel oil tank should meet the strength requirement under the action of external pressure.

6.1.2  The gas tank of gasoline and diesel oil tank should be underground. It is strictly prohibited in the indoor or underground chamber.

6.1.3 The outer surface design of oil tank should be consistent with existing national standards. Design standard of corrosion control for steel pipeline and tank,. SY. The relevant provisions in O7. And should be not less than strengthened anticorrosion insulation protection layer.

6.1.4 When the tank is under the action of groundwater and rainwater and it is possible to float, some measures should be taken to prevent tank floating.

6.1.5 Tank manhole should set the operation well. When the tank is located in the road below, manhole operation well should be set up in the road outside.

6.1.6 The top soil thickness of oil tank shall not be less than 5m. Net sand or fine soil should be backfilled around the tank. Its thickness should be no less than 03m.

6.1.7 For the underground tank built in the water source protection areas and built above underground buildings, some measures shall be taken to protect the anti leakage diffusion and should set the port leakage testing facilities.

6.1.8 Tank joint pipe shall be arranged on the top oil tank and the outlet oil pipe should be based on joint pipe manhole cover.

6.1.9 The inlet oil pipe should down to the place which is 0.2m from the bottom of tank.

6.1.10 When using the self suction pumps, the bottom valve should be located at the end of the outlet oil pipe in oil tank.The distance between bottom valve and tank bottom is 0.15 ~ 0.Zm.

6.1.11 The gauge hatch of oil tank should be set oil hole cap with lock joint oil cap. The lower part of the pipe should be down to the tank from tank bottom 0.Zm.

6.1.12 The gas tank in gas station of A Class and B Class should be provided with a level high level alarm function meter.
